Day 2 – Emergency Fund

Yesterday we launched our second 30 day challenge. On day 2 I am putting $50 in my emergency fund. I was caught flat footed this year when the HVAC died. Thousands of dollars later and the emergency fund got pummeled. I need to re build. We all know some other costly repair is lurking around the corner! Financial planning experts suggest 6 months living expenses in an easily accessible emergency fund or money market account through your credit union.
