30 Day Challenge – Make πŸ₯š Eggs! 🐣

Day 17 of our 30 day financial challenge, where we challenge ourselves to make one small improvement in our finances each day. Over time, these small adjustments and actions snowball into big changes! Today we fed the chickens some of the compost scraps which they use to produce beautiful eggs. These kinds of eggs would cost $4-$6 a dozen in the store. I really love good wholesome eggs from chickens that lay one a day! Most suburban areas are zoned to allow about 6 chickens per lot. The chickens cost about $5 each. Opt for Plymouth Rocks or Buff Orpingtons. They love compost scraps, meat scraps, etc.
